ang tagal ko nang hinintay tonga raw na toh... and its finally here!!! no more finals.. no more mps.. no more papers.. kelangan na lang hintayin ang mga grade sa tuesday... mukhang ok naman ako except for chem.. wish ko lang talaga umabot ako ng 2.0 hahaha

speaking of finals we had five finals this term and ang sakit sa ulo.. pero sabi ko sa sarili ko ok lang yan next term siguro konti na lang ang finals.. pero tinignan ko uli eaf ko.. panay math subject.. so malamang may finals lahat un.. hayy kainis baka lima nanaman finals ko next term haha

i had my first really serious training for the uaap kanina.. hindi rin masyado maayos pero at least pagdating ng sunday ill go sa UE and be confident dahil alam kong nagprepare na ako.. sana lang talga manalo kami.. hehe

lots of stuff to do den this term break.. have to fix the math circle website.. (rrr bakit nio ba kinocompare sa ateneo math society?!) baka have to do some stuff den for grievance.. but besides that merong overnight ang yfc after course card (don't know if im going pa) then there's the teambuilding with the chess team sa sept 5-7 in subic.. sana masaya.. hehe and then of course ung debut ni paola.. and syempre kelangan makapagrelax din ako kahit papano do some stupid stuff luke blog haha

anyways yun na lang muna kasi mejo inaantok nako tsaka im typing this in the dark dahil tulog na si oyelle.. baka masira pa mata ko haha bbye

Heio... well.. first summer gimmick is in dingalan aurora for the gk build!! sobrang saya!
We went there and bonded with the other builders... ung ibang tagavillage... we went down and dug a pit almost 6 ft for a septic tank.. the others painted ung iba naman nag lagay ng mga hollow block.. and all this habang nakabilad kami sa araw... whahaha super sunburn!!!
The food was ok.. except that andaming nilalagay na kanin... tataba ako netoh eh haha habang natutulog andaming lamok and nakakairita na sila pero all these sacrifices were worth it!! we helped people.. we inspired people.. we touched people.. and that is the whole point diba? these people were severley affected by typhoons violeta and winnie.. houses were literally covered with big rocks..
We got back last thursday and then kahapon it was aaron's birthday so we went out sa g4 with the old high school barkada.. it was great to get together again kahit sandali lang... afterwards tumambay kmi ni james sa coffee bean sa gateway while waiting for mico.. then we watched the pacifier before going home..
I guess that was just a way of relaxing after the grueling four days we spent in dingalan.. cant wait to get back there or anywhere gk takes us..

1. Why Houston would trade Jim Jackson. He fit the rotation well and he proved to be a good backup for Tmac and Yao.

2. Why Utah/Jerry Sloan refuses to start Carlos Arroyo. They say he had a fight with Jerry but this guy is oozing with talent, why not use him?

3. Why Denver fired Jeff Bzdelik. Sure, Denver lost six straight, but among those they lost to were the Suns, Spurs, and the Sonics i think. These are all among the top five teams in the league and they were playing them without Melo.

4. Why Manny Pacquiao refuses to leave early to train in the US. He and the whole country knows how important his next fight is. He has to start training immediately if he wants to beat his mexican rival.

well i kinda forgot the way it started, but it definitely ended badly... with the typhoons and the tsunami and all... but i just wanted to go back to all the things that happened this year for me... hahaha

5. Doing the Scope (LSGH Yearbook)
Well it helped widen my horizons hahaha ang labo anyway ang namiss ko tlga dito ay yung bonding namin sa scope staff... ang saya sobra haha i guess ung mga frends ko na toh tlgang ndi na magkakalimutan... sana hahaha

4. Meeting uhm... well... u know... hehe
Yeah I guess you know who you are... haha maybe it didnt work out or end up to be a happy ending pero at least... well going through it all was a lot of fun.. hehe sabi nga nila "loving is like living knowing you're gonna die... you know you're gonna get hurt but you go for the ride anyway" or something like that and you really taught me a lot of things... ill never forget the experiences.... thanks a lot!!! haha

3. Graduating from LSGH
Well at that moment hindi ko pa naffeel na parang mamimiss ko yung lsgh... sabi nila maiiyak daw ako sa grad pero hindi!!! haha anyways ngayon mejo namimiss ko na rin ng konti... i spent what.. 13 years there diba pano nga ba naman hindi ko mamimiss

i miss the "big dome", the bridge, the fmac, the canteens, the canteen people, the janitors, the teachers, the guards, the oval, the shrine, the cabanas, the scope room, the upper and lower fields, the swimming pool, walking 10 minutes from the gate to our classroom, my chair, hayy ang dami pa haha

2. Settling myself in DLSU
Well when i graduated i didnt think it would be easy blending in to the lasallian community... well it was a whole lot easier than i thought it was going to be... and of course id like to thank you guys...

the math cap/bap people... i remember nung lpep, it was actually held on the same day as the national age group championship... and i really felt bad that day cause i couldnt join... i mean pag tumanda ako ndi na ako makakasali dun diba... haha pero anyways nangyari ang nangyari and i went to lpep instead... and it was a whole lot of fun... missing the national age groups was worth it (i guess haha although looking back i think na sana sumali na lang ako sa age groups ) pero the thing is you guys have been a good bunch of people and im so happy i met you guys...

the dlsu woodpushers... to tell the truth this is one of the main reasons i wanted to go to dlsu... i wanted to be part of the winning tradition here... and these guys... man!!!! yow da bezzzz!!! haha especially when magkakasama tayo dun sa bacolod... it was one of the more memorable things that happened den this year... cant wait for unigames next year hahaha

and all the other people who helped make my stay in dlsu a whole lot of fun... the bs stat people, those from tapat, the yfc gang, ms toto, and marami pa haha

1. Winning the UAAP
Whoohooo!!! Adrenaline!!!! hahahaha the whole team went to the ue for the uaap for the first time this year and i guess all of us were thinking the same thing: sayang ung five peat, mapuputol na this year... lalo na kaming mga rookie... iniisip namin: lang hya nakakahiya toh naputol ung streak sa atin...

Pero we just kept working and guess what? its 6 straight years for us!! haha no one expected it but i guess we worked hard enough to get the victory... it was truly a collective effort from the whole team dahil konti lang ang lamang namin... thanks goes out to coach jojo, coach randy, im barlo nadera, marge, panjol, jasson at syempre kay god... hehe

it was the first time in my whole life na nanalo ako ng isang "major" na championship haha nung naglalaro ako sa ncaa prati kaming 5th kaya sanay akong natatalo... pero this year it really felt good.. that feeling you have when you win... this is definitely the best pare!

5. Barrera vs Morales III - One helluva thriller.... i didnt think anything could go up against the drama of Pacquiao - Marquez, but i guess i was wrong

4. Detroit Shocks LA - Kinampihan ko ang Detroit but i really didnt think they'd win 4-1 haha

3. DLSU's win in basketball - when i was in high school i didnt watch too many games live... pero ngayon... with all the free time well you just gotta love this game!! haha animo!!!

2. Pacquiao vs. Marquez I - this was a real fight!! with all the drama... haha sayang nga lang naspoil sa aking ung nangyari before i got to watch the fight pero its ok it was still a good one hehe

1. I finally got to see Manny in person!! Yanig sa Taguig was good, although mejo late na kami dumating... pero our 2600 was worth it... sayang nga lang i didnt get to take a picture with him haha

kasi naman nakakapanggigil din itong isang prof na toh.... sabihin ba naman "Why do the other DLSU professors give such high grades? It seems a 4.0 doesn't mean anything in Taft."

I mean so what?! Hindi naman lahat ng prof ganyan... tska ano gusto mong palabasin? that the quality of education in lasalle sucks? that lasallians dont deserve to get 4.0s? i mean we know u studied and graduated in up but that doesnt mean you have to degrade our school...

These profs give 4.0's but that doesnt mean that the students dont learn anything... they also work for their 4.0's... the profs let them do stuff that are challenging yet "do-able"... and the profs give them 4.0's because they work hard enough

We're sorry if we don't know a thing about economics and can't do our paper right... we're sorry if we're not smart enough... but please dont degrade our school cause its just not right...

there have already been many people who have gone places who came from lasalle... lasallians are capable of being succesful... and im going to prove it to you if thats what it takes to make you respect our school

by the way this also goes out to all those who think that lasallians are rich brats... that lasallians are a bunch of stupid people... that lasallians are no good... thats just plain stereotyping... and im sick of it
